The Hessen-Thüringen Landesbank migrated its dedicated SAP landscape from Windows clusters and AIX servers to the FI-TS Finance Cloud. This move has given the bank greater flexibility in its SAP operations, and sustainable improvements to service quality.

Helaba was looking for a way to unify the platform of its SAP landscape. By migrating its SAP applications to FI-TS cloud.app.sap, the bank managed to eliminate three quarters of its dedicated SAP systems. Moreover, Helaba profits from the ability to deploy computing capacity flexibly, and bolt on high-performance test systems without delay as and when needed.

"As well as flexible resource deployment, it's a huge benefit to have test systems available so fast. It used to take up to six weeks to get a test system – and now we can have one up and running the same day," says Dr. Stefan Reusch. "With SAP in the cloud at FI-TS, we have a technological edge that we’ll certainly be leveraging in our business."
